Bayern Munich Appoints Vincent Kompany as New Head Coach
Bayern Munich is pleased to announce the appointment of Vincent Kompany as their new head coach. The former Burnley defender has signed a three-year deal with the German club. Kompany’s transfer from Burnley was finalized with a compensation package of €12 million (£10.2 million). He was officially introduced by Bayern alongside director of sport Max Eberl and chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen. Kompany expressed his desire to play aggressive football, while Eberl praised his exceptional coaching experience. Bayern went through an extensive coach selection process and believes they have saved the best for last with Kompany.
