Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota names Bukata Hayes chief equity officer
Bukata Hayes will join Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota's senior leadership team after being promoted to vice president and chief equity officer.
Blue Cross has partnered with three digital healthcare services in an effort to reduce racial disparities. Hayes served as the executive director for the Greater Mankato Diversity Council nearly 15 years before joining Blue Cross. Hayes earned his bachelor's degree at the College of St. Scholastica, Duluth. Hayes has been a member of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation board of directors since 2014.
